Description
As Fall Descends by Maggie Terlecki
We had a late spring and it seems like summer came and left too quickly. As fall descends upon us, the leaves are changing colors and everything is tones of red and orange. It was beautiful today, and I clipped a branch from a maple tree that is growing in my backyard. I never planted this tree, but some seed found its place here and grew. I've added a peach and some plums that are prominent in the stores right now as it is harvest time. Seeing the fall makes me a little disappointed as it means winter is on its way, and although pretty, I don't do so well in the cold and we've been warned that this winter may be pretty rough. I will say though, that fall, although being a precursor to winter, sure has lovely colors to bring us there!
I hope you like it. :-) Maggie
