Description
Autumn Still Life by Maggie Terlecki
Autumn is a precursor to the cold and the snow and of course the shoveling which I dread, but for this very short time, we have beautiful light and colors that are warm and rustic feels so homey. I hope you enjoy this piece.

You are a master at creating atmosphere.....having looked at all the elements in this magnificent still life it is obvious to me that it's all about 'The details'. Well done Maggie Fav
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Hi Stuart. I've been busy. I had to redo my roof and it was leaking in my house, and now I'm doing the cleaning up inside, the plastering and eventually the painting. It is taking me forever as I have no idea what I'm doing so taking it nice and slow. As for your comment, Thank you Stuart. I don't know why I love doing still life so much, but I do think one of the reasons is that I can control the details and always looking to have a certain atmosphere. Light is always the most important component, but I'm sure you already know that. Thanks for not forgetting about me when I haven't really been around very much. :-) Maggie

Just love your collection of pumpkins..those stems, so wonderful! The queen of the day, however is that beautiful vase looking like an an organdy gown and crowned with these just so right fall mixtures of flowers. Perfect match! Such an autumn treat, Maggie! F/L+++
