Love this! What a great way to make use of the simple things, and the Weston mood isn't lost either.

Maggie Terlecki replied:

Thank you Monte! Now is the time to say "that's a weird food thing to take a picture of! HA! Glad you could see the Weston mood, although it was not what I had intended photographing, but I like that you can see all the veins! :-) Maggie

Wow, don't usually think of cabbage as a center piece, but you certainly made it such. Nice work!

Maggie Terlecki replied:

Thank you so much, William. I live in a small town far from any fabulous scenes like you do in San Diego, so have to rely on the common to try and create some magic. Yes, even with something like cabbage! :-) Maggie

Beautiful, Maggie! Wonderful color in the cabbage leaves and beauty in the simple still life. Personally, I think cabbages (all kinds) have been greatly under rated as the objects of simple beauty they are. I love working with their colors and textures...they always surprise me when I give them a chance. l/f

Maggie Terlecki replied:

You are so right Claudia. So many things around us have such intrinsic beauty but we don't value them as they are so common. Thank you for your kind words! :-) Maggie
