Description
Bric a Brac by Maggie Terlecki is a Urban Vignette with a potted Geranium, a mirror sculpture and a lantern.
I find that you can get a sense of people by what they adorn the outside of their homes with. Here, the setting tells me this person is welcoming and lights this lantern in the evening to show that, the plant shows coziness and someone who perhaps likes gardening but that has enough of a laid back attitude to not worry about a few yellowing leaves. No mean person would ever have this in front of their house.
This is a limited edition print. Once 10 prints have been sold, I will pull it. Next print to be sold will be 2/30. #06502.. This does not pertain to images sold on products or as greeting cards. Ha...your reasoning on this image is touching :-) you know in some European countries the geranium is a very abundant and prominent flower outside their houses and balconies !! If it had been taking there they would have shakes their heads and started gossiping what would be wrong with this housegardener...lol....your work just stays ever fascinating Maggie !!
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Hi Michel! You make me laugh about neighbors gossiping about the geraniums not kept shipshape! ha! I'm so happy for your visit and glad you like this image as many would find a few things on a bench way too trivial to even look at, but of course, you see further. Thank you so much :-) Maggie

What a fabulous photograph Maggie. I really love how you composed this one. ;-) FV
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Thank you, Nick. I am a little worried that there is so much detail that the compression makes it look a bit over=sharpened online, but It really isn't. I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the kind comment :-) your friend, Maggie
