Description
Carnations in a Teacup by Maggie Terlecki
I really like flowers that have a bit of a bend to their stems, something about that makes them more vulnerable and emotional to me. Carnations on the other hand, do not bend, or meander, they are very strong soldiers except when you try to bend them, they simply break. The shot pieces you are left with do work well in small objects though like in this teacup.
This is a limited edition print. Only 30 will be sold. This is copy 1 of 30 and will hold the authenticity certificate #2020001. All images that have the longest side over 16 inches will be included in the edition. ANA MARIA EDULESCU
Such a marvelous artistic photo this is Maggie. I just love the delicate white tones of the carnations on the tile background and the elegant teacup. Fl
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Thank you so much, Ana. Actually, the teacup was given to me with others from someone I met online that knew that I did photography of flowers in many things that were not vases. She sent a friend that was coming to my town to bring them to me. Isn't that wonderful? Thank you also, so much, for the fabulous comment. :-) Maggie

So fresh and lovely....that turquoise is perfect with the cup's flowers too! Great, Maggie!! F/L++
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Hi Nancy! Yes, I had to tweak the background color a bit to get a better match but worth it I think. :-) Maggie

Another beautiful piece Maggie -- At the risk of sounding like a broken record: masterfully lit and arranged!
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Oh, thank you William and honestly, there are times, especially like right now, where sales are non-existent that it is only the kind comments of people like you, that keep me motivated to continue doing this. There goes the allure of the all confident Maggie, right? Oh, well, hope you understand I don't think your comments are anything boring or like a broken record; instead much appreciated! :-) Maggie
