Eager for Spring by Maggie Terlecki
This red tulip is eager for spring and so am I. We should be there by now, but yesterday, it snowed before the snow from this winter has disappeared. Thankfully the grocery store is selling tulips, which I love dearly. I prefer them to romantic roses, which although pretty, for the most part, too formal for me. Give me a tulip any day and especially after a day or two when they go a bit wild and curvy and seductive; so much better than stalwart soldiers. Lazy and lovely, just how I love them!
