The weather is quite cold today. Woke up to -24C feels like -34C. It's winter and it's just started.
A few days ago, I took a picture of some leaves that I let dry slowly on the branch and today, I went back to the images I took when I brought it in, and found this little still life image that I quite liked. The photo was actually taken in the very last days of October and really gives you a sense of the weather out there... it was chilly and winter was knocking on the door.
I liked this shot because it feels like those luxurious pears are being framed by the leaves and it appeals to me and may to you. I hope you like my work!

Wow...fantastic that backlighting Maggie !! Gorgeously framed and gorgeous colors in that cloth too...better heat up so you won't freeze in there !! Just caught this one on the brink of bedtime...lol...

Hi Michel. I thought you were still under the weather as I always check if you have answered to a comment I left but nothing yet on Warzone.. which was fabulous, of course. Yes, weather here is very cold but seems to be on a wave that goes up and down and we are expecting a simple -5 for Wednesday. Of course, that also means more snow. :-D I'm glad you like this piece as I love backlighting. I love how the light caresses the outside of objects and gives them depth.
