Description
Frosty Morn by Maggie Terlecki
I live in the province of Quebec, Canada and we have very cold winters. Oddly, on the sunniest of days in the winter, it is also some of the coldest as is depicted here with the light making the frost around this simple leaf, so beautiful on this very cold Quebec morning.
This is a limited edition print. Once 10 prints have been sold, I will pull it. Next print to be sold will be 2/10. #1738002. This does not pertain to images sold on products or as greeting cards. Image must be 16" or more on the longest side (before framing). If you purchase an image from me and would like a signed certificate of authenticity as long as the above conditions are followed, simply contact me through the site, or the contact form on maggieterlecki.com and I will be happy to mail you one!

I really like how you utilized the lighting on your frosty leaf image dear Sally. You know how to use light to your advantage and that is a sign of a great photographer. ;-) I am very fond of your image Sally :-) FV
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Ha! I sure hope this was a joke and the Sally reference is just for fun, as you know I'm not her.. lol. :-) Glad you like the image though.

So very lovely! Even though it is a photograph of frost the bright morning sunlight gives a touch of warmth to the image. L/F

Even the leaf is frozen to the branch...amazing...it survived autumn and never fell to the ground !! A special and frosty find...it makes me shiver and I'm always feeling cold...brrrrr...I hope you have your heating set really on a comfy temperature. We humans are so fragile :-)) lovely find Maggie !!
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Hi Michel. It's so cold but again like last week, we will have a warm spell in the middle of the week where it will rain. It becomes difficult to shovel because it's snow with rain that freezes in between and then snow on top, and it becomes quite heavy. One day this week, there was about 7-8 inches on one side and 3 feet on the other (that's like a meter). I couldn't even tell how much had actually fallen the night before because it was extremely windy. I actually think the cold and snow is beautiful, but like you, I freeze easily and find it very cold. Before going out, I run hot water on my forearms and wrists so that it keeps them warmer a bit longer. As for the photo, I'm glad you like it. I think the dark building behind really helps the rim of frost show up! :-) Maggie .. ps.. keep warm too! :-D
