When I was preparing this image for upload, I kept seeing the bee snuggling deep inside the poppy and could not help but call it "In the Pink". Tulips are my favorite spring flower, but I think I will declare that for summer, I have fallen in love with the poppy. Such a beautiful and elegant yet very vulnerable flower. It's obvious I love flowers as I continue to take photos of them, but it's not the strong steady ones that steal my heart; it's the ones like this poppy with a delicate stem that sways in the breeze and displays such strength in its fragility

I'm a photographer from a small town in Quebec, Canada and I do mostly Still Life compositions and Urban Vignettes. I take pictures of things I feel a connection to, a way of sharing my feelings, my world, and my place in it. My approach to photography is essentially the same as how an author uses words to write a story. Hopefully, youll find my voice and vision within my work. I also do digital painting - mostly fantastical creatures like fairies.
