Description
Late Summer Gifts by Maggie Terlecki
Living on the east coast of Canada is beautiful but the reality is that we have long winters and short yet hot summers. I'm always hankering for something to shoot and at this time of the year, there is not much and what is left often is mushed up from rain. I do have the grocery store though and that's where I go. I live about 6 hours from the city, so can't just pick up what I want, but rather what they have. It's fine as I have learned that you don't need extraordinary things to make great images. Yesterday I bought a bunch of sunflowers and in this bunch was this one little special sunflower that had deep reddish/purplish lines going through it. What a treat. Add a couple pears and you have a still life. Expect to see several through the next few days, as I'm going to take advantage of these flowers while they are here. I hope you enjoy!
This is a limited edition print. Only 30 will be sold. This is copy 1 of 30 and will hold the authenticity certificate #1934001. All images that have the longest side over 16 inches will be included in the edition. If you purchase of of these images and would like me to send you a certificate, signed and numbered by me, I will be happy to do so if you can contact me here.

Your lighting is exquisite Maggie! You truly have honed the skills of still life photography during your long winters indoors. Beautiful image. L/F
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Oh, Thank you, Linda. I'm glad to know that I'm still learning things and getting better. Don't want to be like boring stagnant water

A feast for the eyes.....just beautiful Maggie. Also love the word "hankering" in your description.
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Thank you so much, Stuart. I'm glad you like it. And I think I have a hankering for many things, but often for photography. :-) Maggie
