ah, strawberries. Sometimes we buy them and the taste like a big bunch of nothing but these are field strawberries, picked when they are ripe and must be eaten soon after. That's why they are piled up so high. They are delicious. I don't particularly like strawberries that have been frozen and thawed, and I don't usually cook with them, but raw and sweet yet tangy are the best! Yes, let there be red! :-) Maggie
