Artist's Description

Looking Back by Maggie Terlecki

This past month, our weather has been a bit wonky. A little cold and a few flakes of snow, then rain and slush, and back and forth until last night when it started to snow and did it snow. It snowed during the night and most of the day, and then I went out to shovel and had a foot of snow to clean. I realized that this was probably it; the true beginning of winter. It is such a pretty month, but oooh, cold and harsh. I don't do well with the cold and less well when I have to go out and shovel. It reminded me to look back, to warmer days with pretty peonies and nectarines. A reminder that those warm days will be back again, just keep looking back until you can look forward because those days will be nearer. I hope you like it! :-) Maggie

About Maggie Terlecki

Maggie Terlecki

I'm a photographer from a small town in Quebec, Canada and I do mostly Still Life compositions and Urban Vignettes. I take pictures of things I feel a connection to, a way of sharing my feelings, my world, and my place in it. My approach to photography is essentially the same as how an author uses words to write a story. Hopefully, youll find my voice and vision within my work. I also do digital painting - mostly fantastical creatures like fairies.
