Description
Pears by the Window by Maggie Terlecki
I have always loved the shape of pears, they just are so beautiful and interesting with their round bodies and their long elegant necks. I love to take pictures of them. Many years ago, I would buy pears only to shoot because I was not in love with their taste.. I thought they were too bland, but I guess I have grown up, because slowly I've come to love their delicate and subtle flavor! Now for those of you asking why the feather... well, simple.. I was taking pictures of different things and this small feather just floated over and begged in to in the photo.. so I granted its wish and left it there! :-)
This is a limited edition print. Once 10 prints have been sold, I will pull it. Next print to be sold will be 1/10. #1740001. This does not pertain to images sold on products or as greeting cards. Image must be 16" or more on the longest side (before framing). Soft b/w that is dreamy like in presentation...lighting is superb and your description makes me want to look more into your art. I have always liked the taste of pears, and perhaps the next time I eat one I may think of your artwork! l/f/tw
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Hi Lydia, I would be so pleased if you were interested in looking at other pieces I have done and like that you like the presentation and lighting. Thank you and since you always loved the taste of pears, you have a more sophisticated palette as I'm just learning to! :-) Maggie

Wonderful photograph, Maggie, and even more spectacular in black and white! The feather is such a lovely touch as is the soft fold of the tablecloth. Fav'd, liked, tweeted, and FB!
Maggie Terlecki replied:
thank you so much, CJ! I'm happy you like it. As for the feather, it chose to be in the photo, so I allowed it! :-)
