Is there anything more perfect than a plum? Yes, several of them. I find it fun that you can take something as simple and ordinary as a plum and so how elegant it can be propped up on a pedestal bit of glassware. I guess anything looks a bit elegant on a pedestal right? :-)

I'm a photographer from a small town in Quebec, Canada and I do mostly Still Life compositions and Urban Vignettes. I take pictures of things I feel a connection to, a way of sharing my feelings, my world, and my place in it. My approach to photography is essentially the same as how an author uses words to write a story. Hopefully, you’ll find my voice and vision within my work. I also do digital painting - mostly fantastical creatures like fairies.

Apart from the fact that this image is indeed perfection.....how did you fine so many plumbs with stems?!

Thank you Stuart. Oddly enough, I bought a small basket of them and every single one had a stem. I was impressed and liked using them because of it. Often times I wish I could get oranges and lemons here with the branch and the leaves but they don't seem to sell those around here. So I do without. :-) Maggie
