Description
Portrait of a Tree in Winter by Maggie Terlecki
I live in the province of Quebec, Canada and it can get very cold here. Yesterday and the day before it was -28C with windchill at -38C. That's -36.4 Fahrenheit with windchill. It's freaking cold. I think this image expresses how frosty it is. Just want to stay inside under some warm blankets! :-) Maggie

Maggie I LOVE this photo- tree portrait . I especially love how the light catches the branches and how the branch in the foreground curls. I love the cold and love to build sculptures in the snow. But a nice fire in a fireplace and a nice hot drink sounds appealing too.F/L

Hi Susan. I used to love doing winter photos, but my hands have frozen more than once, and now it is kind of painful, but winter images are always so pretty! :-) Maggie

We haven't had significant snow here in December for three years. This is so beautiful! L/F
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Thank you Scott. I live in the province of Quebec, Canada, and have never seen a winter without snow, although this year seems less than most but a snowstorm on its way! Thank you for your kind words.
