Remember Day of the Dead Sugar Skull by Maggie Terlecki
Description
on November the 1st every year, in countries such as Mexico, people celebrate the day of the dead. El dia de los Muertos. It is a day to remember their loved ones and people paint their faces with what is called sugar skull make-up. Although it is a celebration, loss is always difficult and painful.
I'm a photographer from a small town in Quebec, Canada and I do mostly Still Life compositions and Urban Vignettes. I take pictures of things I feel a connection to, a way of sharing my feelings, my world, and my place in it. My approach to photography is essentially the same as how an author uses words to write a story. Hopefully, you’ll find my voice and vision within my work. I also do digital painting - mostly fantastical creatures like fairies.
