Description
Ring around the Rosie by Maggie Terlecki.
When I was a young child, we used to play outside and do this rhyme.
Ring around the Rosie
Pocket full of Posies,
Ashes, Ashes
We all fall down.
It was just a fun rhyme but I learned recently that it was about the Black Death and the Great Plague of 1665. Since we are going through a similar pandemic right now, I thought this image with a ring around a rose was appropriate. I'm so glad that we now will be vaccinated, and hopefully bring this horrible virus to a halt. I read today, that worldwide, this pandemic has already taken 2 million people's lives. Most of these people died without their families and friends by their side. So much sadness.
For everyone, yes, we all find it difficult, but don't consider yourself stuck at home, instead, consider yourself safe at home.
Much love, Maggie
