Description
Roses and Aubrey by Maggie Terlecki.
I took a photo of my backyard roses with a very old book of illustrations by Aubrey Beardsley. He was a fascinating person, who died when he was a mere 25. He only did illustrations for about 2 years but did many. Just a little nod to him. :-) Maggie

So lovely ... wonderful fall of light ... so fresh and natural. Interesting info about Beardsley ... and such an interesting looking old book ... I love those things, too!!! l/f
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Thank you so much Lois. Yes, the book is really old and sadly falling apart but I love it! :-) Maggie

Beautiful tribute Maggie! The roses look like they are bowing their heads...in sadness...or perhaps catching a glimpse of his wonderful art! F/L
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Hi Nancy. Thank you. He did some really interesting and wonderful work. I didn't want the focus to be entirely just on his work, but a small glimpse. Perhaps some that don't know him, will check him out.
