Description
Spring is Calling by Maggie Terlecki
Tulips of course, to me, spell spring more than any other flower. Now these were bought at the store because we still have plenty of snow outside, but they are a sure sign that spring is just around the corner.
Don't get me wrong.. winter is lovely, but winter, albeit so pretty, also brings shoveling and cold that is not always easy to manage. Spring on the other hand, always feels fresh, feels full of hope and everything feels like a brand new start, a new chance.
This is a limited edition print. Once 10 prints have been sold, I will pull it. Next print to be sold will be 2/10. #1724002. This does not pertain to images sold on products or as greeting cards. Image must be 16" or more on the longest side (before framing). If you purchase an image from me and would like a signed certificate of authenticity as long as the above conditions are followed, simply contact me through the site, or the contact form on maggieterlecki.com and I will be happy to mail you one!

Isn't it strange how emotional flowers can be? When they hang low like this, they seem to convey sadness or tragedy... Beautiful shot and as usual, beautiful light Maggie 😍💡👍
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Aww! Thank you Monte. I kind of have a thing where I like the emotions that I can get with tulips. They are probably my favorite flower. I love how they meander and get a little out of control and when I first get them and they are stiff like soldiers, I tend to ruffle them a bit or turn them upside down. I'm pleased you like them! :-) Maggie

Such a beautiful way to start this beautiful season...hope you put them quickly in a vase again Maggie !! ;)
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Thank you so much, Michel. Sadly, these tulips were already open in the store and were fading fast. I'm lucky that I was able to take some photos of them that I like. I actually don't mind tulips that are fading too.. they are like beautiful old ladies, with bent backs and knees but the character is still there !:-D
