The Spring Fairy by Maggie Terlecki
When Spring arrives, so does the spring fairy. She sits in between the blossoms of trees and plays her flute softly and gently, calling in birds and bees to come and fertilize the flowers. She's quite fresh and innocent, just as the spring is. I hope you like her!
This is a digital painting done with a Wacom tablet and brush and takes many painstaking hours and is just like traditional work except done with digital media. It allows the image to be reproduced in high quality resolution at bigger sizes.

Hi Monte! I'm glad you like her. As you know I'm a girl and well, pearls on her spine and little baubles here and there are in my blood. As for the human form, not afraid.
