Waiting for Spring by Maggie Terlecki. Yesterday when I did this shoot, I kept looking out at the hip high snow and wishing it were spring. Initially the flowers were facing me, but I turned them towards the light to reflect the way I was feeling. We had a snowstorm last night and another foot of snow.. Oh, how I am waiting for spring!

I'm a photographer from a small town in Quebec, Canada and I do mostly Still Life compositions and Urban Vignettes. I take pictures of things I feel a connection to, a way of sharing my feelings, my world, and my place in it. My approach to photography is essentially the same as how an author uses words to write a story. Hopefully, you’ll find my voice and vision within my work. I also do digital painting - mostly fantastical creatures like fairies.

Good Evening, Michel. Yes, hip high and it snowed all day yesterday, and again today. Oddly, we had a green Xmas, which I had never seen in my life... but there you go... climate is definitely weird and I'm pining for spring! :-) Glad you like it :-)
