I love the very pale slate gray blue in this one and the winter white with it. As always, the delicate lacy patterns of the veins fascinate me. This is one of my two Picks of the Day in the Best of Minimalism in Photography group for December 29.

Sharon, thank you so much for visiting. I've injured my foot and have orders to keep the foot up, so not much time on the computer, so your comment fills me with joy to see you have visited. :-) Maggie

Yes I understand ! When you see the two thumbnails with the red leaf in it they really work so well together. The white one has a different scale, being more macro, but with the same feeling. Maybe when you have time you may one day find a third one to add to the other two, like using a third color from the leaves for the background, like the beige of the leaf that is on top. You would have than one with a black, a white and a beige background :)))
Maggie Terlecki replied:
You are right, Michael. I have hurt my foot and am limping around and finding it difficult to do even a simple shoot. It is a fantastic idea though and I think I will absolutely do one. I have these precious leaves safely kept for their next performance :-) Maggie
