A Bit of Wild by Maggie Terlecki
For those following along with the challenge to do a photo shoot every day for a month, well, this is Day 9. It is simply a bit or roadside vetch that I picked up this afternoon. I have been commissioned to shoot someone's garden for a book and was gone all morning, and to be frank was too tired to do much more.
I originally wanted to do dandelion fluff but when I went looking for some, I didn't find any, anywhere. Not even non-fluffy dandelions. So I brought this home and took pictures of it. Funny though, is that I always thought since childhood that the petals of these wild weeds looked like tiny hummingbirds and still do until this day. No fancy set up for today, but I hope you still enjoy! :-) Maggie
I'm a photographer from a small town in Quebec, Canada and I do mostly Still Life compositions and Urban Vignettes. I take pictures of things I feel a connection to, a way of sharing my feelings, my world, and my place in it.
