Description
Summer on a Plate by Maggie Terlecki. I love bringing flowers in from the garden and putting them in a vase to brighten up the indoors. This is when I also like to photograph them. Here, simply laying on a plate before being put in a vase, these peonies remind me of balls of icecream that are just demanding to be licked! :-)

Beautiful flowers, so soft and voluminous, they bring to mind a 17th century Dutch still life.
Maggie Terlecki replied:
Thank you so much Yvonne. I hope one day to have enough props to do a Dutch still life image with some of these when they are blooming, as you are right, they are so immensely luxurious flowers. :-) Maggie
